Shared Responsibility

Integrated Mosquito Management (IMM), also called integrated vector management (IVM), is the shared responsibility of Government, Corporate, and Community sectors.  Each party must commit to its role and collaborate with the others for a united effort against dengue and its relentless spread by mosquitoes.

Government
To provide support to the public and communities by providing expertise, guidance, approval, and support of campaigns and initiatives taken by the corporations and communities who implement campaigns against dengue in their areas of responsibility.

Corporate
Initiate and champion campaigns among employees and the public through programs and public communication to combat spread of dengue.

Community
Must take ownership in campaigns initiated in communities to implement the IMM/IVM daily practices and sustain them every day to eliminate mosquitoes to fight dengue.
