YAM TUNKU NAQUIYUDDIN IBNI TUANKU JA’AFAR 

YAM Tunku Naquiyuddin received his education at the King’s School in Canterbury and read International Politics at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom (UK). He initially served the Malaysian Diplomatic Corps and was posted to Paris between 1972-1975 as 2nd secretary. He speaks fluent French.

Tunku Naquiyuddin is also Chairman of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad and Director of Ann Joo Resources Berhad and Chairman of Noble Mineral Resources Ltd listed in Australia (ASX). He has held various positions in trade associations and professional bodies including the Federation of Public Listed Companies, Malaysia – France Economic and Trade Association, Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur as well as a Committee Member of KLSE (now known as Bursa Malaysia) from 1989-1994.

A keen environmentalist, Tunku Naquiyuddin was a Committee Member of the World Wide Fund for Nature (Malaysia) and Chairman of the Malaysia Wildlife Conservation Foundation.

Tunku Naquiyuddin’s first venture into philanthropy started with setting up Tuanku Ja’afar College (KTJ) in 1991 as a non-profit boarding school. In 1995, he founded the YTN Foundation, which recently expanded its scope to fight malaria and dengue.

Tunku Naquiyuddin is a recipient of the The BRANDLAUREATE Brand Icon Leadership Award 2012, an Award for the Most Deserving and Worthy ICON.

DR NEIL RANAWEERA

Dr. Ranaweera is the co-founder and Managing Director of EntoGenex since its establishment in 2008.


He started his professional career as a Veterinary Surgeon (University Of Ceylon). He has extensive experience in corporate development, having held senior positions in Wattie Group (NZ) and subsequently as a director of Cold Storage Group, Singapore.

He also served as the Managing Director of Wattie Food Services Group with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand.

Dr.Ranaweera has lived and worked in 10 countries in various capacities including lecturing at university, scientific research, corporate management, international business development, product innovation and development through the successful commercialisation.

He holds a PhD in Veterinary Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge.

MR MARCUS FRANCIS

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Francis sets the strategic direction of the company in consultation with the Board of Directors and leads the management team. He has extensive experience in international marketing and business development.
